Snow is beautiful! I love the peaceful falling of the 'no two alike' snowflakes. It is a simple marvel watching these tiny puffs of white transform our cold city from the dormant brown of winter to a chaste world of perfect white purity. I must admit that every year I find that I have a childish love and fascination with SNOW.
Clearly there are the obvious disadvantages of living in this winter wonderland but every once in a while...when there is enough snow...God blesses those within His snowy kingdom! Such a wonder happened today! Church was cancelled because we have had about a foot of snow and it is still falling and so it was determined that it would be safer to remain home. Life has been paused. Together we are all able to enjoy a 'free' day of leisure and memory making. These are some of my favorite moments in life.
