2 Hour Delay!

Last night all of the kids went to bed with their clothes on inside-out and backwards. Someone told Samantha and Ike this 'tried and true trick' years ago that if they did this that the next day would be a 'snow day'! (for our desert friends this means NO SCHOOL!) Many other places that we have lived snow days are something much more generously doled out but not here where we get 140+ inches of snow each winter! BUT not to worry...there was at least a 2 hour delay (only the third such day in our 4 1/2 years here) which translated into a little more sleeping in and a kinder start back to school after Christmas Break.
