Claire's Art Award...

Our sweet little Claire won 4th place, amongst the 1st graders entries, in this year's art contest at her school. She was one of many but to be an artist is a first in our home. She loves to color, create, cut, glue, and imagine in a way all new to our family. This is not to say that no one else like to do these things but it surely was done differently before Claire arrived. Samantha is and always was a perfect big sister to all of her younger brothers. She played pirate ship on bunk beds for years with all the boys and never thought twice about it--spy games were her middle name. Claire, on the other hand, gives the word feminine a whole new meaning and we are all learning! Yet I can't help thinking that she too is a perfect little sister to everyone in our home--they just don't know it yet!
