Dave is on his way to the temple with Sam, Ike, and Nate as I write. They left this morning around 9:15, had to pick up one other youth and then will head out to Palymra, NY to visit the temple and do baptisms. We are so looking forward to reducing the driving time and living closer to a temple. Really I should not complain because Palmyra is only 3 1/2 hours away and we have traveled 3 times that to get to temples in years past but it still makes the trip an all day event. This is what the temple looks like right now in the winter--I thought it would be good to include so that we could see the contrast when we go in the spring and summer. This is the 2nd time in 6 months that Dave has been able to go to the temple with the older kids. In that respect the long drive is somewhat nice because you can play games, talk, listen to music and enjoy eachother's company.
