Today our family was blessed to learn that a mistake had been made and that we were the unfortunate victims of poor communication or perhaps some kind of clerical error. The relief that filled my world was tremendous. I could breathe easy again, Dave was going to find gainful employment, we were still going to Arizona...
Unfortunately, our good news means that someone else will now be the recipient of the same bad news that we were accidentally told just a couple of days ago. The woman who called Dave and told him that they were not going to be able to hire him at Banner sent us an edible bouquet with a note expressing her 'deepest apology'.
I am so grateful to her for her simple words and touched by this kind gesture. Thank goodness everything has worked out!
