Children are definately observers of our adult world and occasionally make very insightful comments that make me laugh out loud at their innocent wisdom. Yesterday was such a day.
Claire and I were sitting in the waiting room of a doctor's office, looking at a magazine, and I was trying to patiently kill time. As I flipped the pages we came to an ad for underwear--Hanes I think. Anyway, Claire turned to me and said, "I don't get it. Why would people make underwear so pretty when no one can even see through your clothes?" I shrugged and tried to quietly tell her that some people like pretty things. She then said..."That is just weird! You wear clothes over the top of them. I don't get it!"
